SPRING OPEN HOUSE
PACK SHED (BROWN BUILDING NEXT TO THE GROCERY) SUNDAY, APRIL 12TH; 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Mark the start of the 2015 harvest season with us during our first open house of the year. Spend the afternoon touring the farm, learning about the cooperative, perusing the regional foods in our on-farm grocery, and, of course, tasting what is grown and crafted at the co-op. Good walking shoes are a must. Park along the Christmas trees when you arrive and then come meet us in our pack shed. After the open house, take home a piece of the experience by grabbing dinner from our kitchen. EASTER EGG HUNT
ON-FARM GROCERY SATURDAY, APRIL 4TH; 11:00 AM Come find our farm fresh eggs hidden among the blossoming blueberry bushes and tall spring grasses during our ol’ fashioned Easter egg hunt. Bring your own basket to collect the many hard-boiled and dyed eggs, courtesy of our pastured chickens, that will be waiting for you in our fields. There will be sidewalk chalk drawing and Easter treats galore. At long last, the Spring Equinox has arrived. Between all the seeding, cooking, and general scurrying about the farm today, the vibe at the co-op certainly reflects this new season feel. Jump into spring foods with us this weekend at OTC Grocery!

ON-FARM GROCERY SATURDAY, MARCH 14TH; 1:00-4:00 PM Our newest offering of Oregon grown and crafted foods demands a party, so this is just what we're doing. Similar to a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscription, our Certified Local Boxes are seasonal subscriptions representing a mix of foods and products. Contents are sourced from Producer Members of Our Table, packed at the co-op in Sherwood, and then delivered weekly to a neighborhood location for pick-up. At Saturday's kickoff party, get the scoop on how the boxes work and taste some of what's included. We'll be taking sign-ups while Deck Family Farm grills up sliders. ON-FARM GROCERY SATURDAY, MARCH 7TH; 10:00 AM (SWEET HONEY) 3:00 PM (OAK KNOLL) The best medicine is what you eat every day. Food is medicine, and most importantly, preventative medicine. Learn about the health benefits directly from the Sweet Honey farmers that grow, forage, and craft delicious, nutrient dense products that keep you healthy and vivacious. Later in the afternoon, we'll move into a wine tasting with Oak Knoll. With a long family history in local wine making, Oak Knoll will present a mix of its Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir from Washington County. We're kicking off March events at our grocery with our first co-op cookbook swap. Freshen up your cookbook library with a new book from your neighbor! Bring an old book and leave with a new one.
