Sign-up and account management is much simpler than in the past:
1. On our sign up page, choose your payment plan (up-front or monthly). 2. Run through the payment process. You should receive an email to confirm a successful purchase. 3. We’ll contact you before the start of the season to remind you when it’s starting.
Remember to put CSA pick ups in your calendar for each week of the season!
When does the season start and how long is it?
The first delivery of the 2025 season will be on Thursday, June 6. The season is 24 weeks in length, ending November 13th. If you sign up part way through the season, your start date will be in the email sent to you.
Where and when do I pick up my share?
Pick up will be ONLY from the Our Table farm in Sherwood at 13390 SW Morgan Rd.
Shares will be available on Thursdays from 2-6pm. If you are running late, call us (503-217-4304) and we can put a share aside for you for pickup on the following day. Any shares not picked up by 6pm on Friday day will be donated to staff and/or local food banks.
What is the cost of the share?
A 24-week share costs $660 which works out to an average of $27.50/week. However, share sizes (and values) will vary from week to week depending on the weather and time of year. If you pay the entire amount up front, you get one week free (total $632.50). Alternatively you can pay in in 6 installments of $110 each.
If you choose to pay in 6 monthly installments, your first installment will be charged on the day you sign up. The subsequent 5 installments will be charged to your credit card each month after that.
What can I expect in my share each week?
The CSA is "market-style", meaning you can choose the veggies and fruits you want, tailoring your share to your family’s needs. We suggest the amounts that make up a share, and some products (especially fruits) will be limited. No time to pick and choose? We will always have a couple pre-packed shares waiting for you if you’re in a hurry.
Each week during the 24-week season starting June 6th, you will receive an abundant harvest of organically grown seasonal vegetables and fruits from our own farm as well as from a couple of other local farms. The vast majority of items each week will come from our own farm. You have the ability to take as much of each item as you'd like (with some limitations).
We harvest shares to be about right for 2-3 people each week. If your household eats a lot of veggies or has more than 3 people, we recommend purchasing multiple shares. If you are concerned about wasted produce: Remember that this you control over what you take. We will offer you suggested amounts of produce based on your share, but what you take is up to you!
Do you have anything other than fruits and veggies in the shares?
Since all pick ups will be at our store location, we will always have the highest quality meats, dairy, grains, eggs and more available to you for purchase.
CAN I CHANGE THE FREQUENCY OF MY SHARES?
No. We only offer weekly shares which is simpler for everyone.
Can I cancel my share part way through the season?
We prefer that you do not but if you're not pleased with you share, please contact us by June 30th and we will give you a pro-rated refund. We cannot accept cancellations after June 30th and all cancellations will incur a $35 administrative fee.
What if I'm running late or can't be there by 6pm on THURSDAY?
No problem. Just give us a call (503-217-4034) and we can have your bag packed and put safely away in our coolers for pick up on between 11am and 6pm on Friday. If you do not call or email ahead, we cannot have your share packed for you and will donate the produce to our local food bank whenever possible. Shares will NOT be available for pickup after 6pm Friday.
What if I am going out of town and would like to skip a week?
If you expect to be out of town, try to have a friend/neighbor pick up your share. It's a great way to share the harvest!
Do I get a credit if I miss a week?
No. If you're going out of town for a week or two, gift your share to a neighbor! However, if you miss more than 4 shares in the season due to travel, we'll give you store credit. This will be an honor system so we're relying on you to keep track. You will only receive store credit for missed weeks in excess of 4 shares - i.e. if you miss 6 weeks, you will receive store credit for 2 weeks. If you miss 4 weeks or less, we cannot issue a credit.
What is the difference between a CSA subscription and being an Owner of Our Table Cooperative?
Anyone can purchase a CSA subscription without joining as a Community Owner of Our Table Cooperative. Your CSA subscription is a one-season investment in Our Table, and sharing in the harvest every week.
Becoming an owner is a deeper relationship with Our Table. For a one-time $150 fee, you officially join the Our Table community. Owners get a say in how Our Table fulfills its mission to provide local, sustainable, ethical food. Plus there are perks!
Owners are eligible for dividends from Our Table (based upon how much they shop here).
Every second Saturday of the month is Owner Day. Owners receive 10% off their entire purchase at the on-farm grocery.
Additionally, throughout the year, owners can also enjoy special discounts, tailored events, and more!
Yes, we are now accepting SNAP food benefits for our CSA! If you'd like to pay with SNAP, sign up here so we can process your payment. Note that if you only receive cash benefits (allowing you to buy non-food items), then we cannot process your payment.
