The Manav Foundation
Educational and volunteer activities at Our Table Cooperative are conducted by our non-profit arm called The Manav Foundation.
The Manav Foundation is a public-benefit non-profit private operating foundation that is registered in the State of Oregon. The organization was founded on August 2, 2011 with a mission to: CULTIVATE A LOCALLY ADAPTED CULTURE AND ECONOMY.
The foundation's activities are focused on farm-based education at the Our Table Cooperative farm located in Sherwood, Oregon. The Sanskrit word manav translates as humanity in English. The foundation is managed by a Board of Directors that currently consists of the three founding members:
Seed funding for the organization has come from the family of Machelle and Narendra Varma.
