Bringing farmers and eaters together
At the heart of our food community is a multi-stakeholder cooperative composed of three different interests along the food production chain: workers on our farm, regional producers, and consumers.
We are committed to this type of ownership structure because it promotes fair wages and prices, democratic decision-making, and a communal investment in what we eat. Our member groups converge in our governing Board of Directors, which consists of representatives from each stakeholder group. The board guides the overall direction of our co-op based on the ideas and opinions of its members. Together, the players in our cooperative form a network that redefines the food system to include a larger, more involved community.
