2025 Farm Crew
We are looking for a full-time farm crew member for the 2025 growing season (April 1 through Oct 31). Start/end dates can be adjusted to meet individual needs.
Working Hours: Expect a seasonally varying work week averaging 40 hours/week over the season.

Required:

- A typical day begins between 6 and 7 am and ends between 2.30 and 3 pm.
- 30-minute paid lunch
- Occasional flexibility is required with start and end times. (i.e. in the case of climate or other emergencies).
- Wage ranges from $16-19/hr., depending on experience and responsibilities
- Access to fruit and vegetables throughout the season.
- Accrued paid time off/sick leave.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Harvesting and packing vegetables, fruit, and flowers for wholesale and CSA
- Coordinating and executing fieldwork with the rest of the crew
- Greenhouse seeding
- Delivering to restaurant accounts in PDX on Friday
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 1 year of prior farm work with small or medium scale mixed vegetable farms
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive a van or box truck in PDX
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated & able to streamline workflow
- Listens well & able to take feedback/instruction
- Desire & ability to learn new farm methods and systems
- Able to sustain the physical rigor of a farming season
- Positive attitude in all types of weather
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work with a diverse group of people
- Strong love of food, nutrition and healthy local economies
- Managing experience
- Sales experience
- Spanish language skills
- BCS and tractor experience
- Regularly required to sit or stand, bend, climb and reach.
- Regularly required lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, often for long durations.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks with endurance.
