A quick note to give a list of what's in the share and also to say that the weather is taking a decidedly fall like turn. In today's share are some of the summer crops that are still hanging on: cucumbers and summer squash. peppers, which I think of as an early fall crop are doing nicely. We only grow sweet peppers that look like hot peppers. Don't worry, we don't grow hot peppers. Beans and tomatoes are waning so a few folks will get small shares of those, but there's not enough for everyone this week. Lettuce is still doing well and we have beautiful fennel with fennel greens. I'll write a bit more about fennel soon. A couple of nice cippolini onions round out today's bag.
