Another sunny, warm week on the farm has us scrambling around with joy. Everything is growing so quickly and it's a blast to try and keep up.
One of the most delightful treats, green garlic, also know as spring garlic, is highly versatile. Its flavor is a little less intense than a garlic clove and you can use the whole plant..bulb, stalk, leaves and all. There are many different ways to cook green garlic from cutting it lengthwise and grilling to sautéing in butter and topping pizza with it (my personal fav). There are great recipes for salad, soups, quiches and more that all feature green garlic. I hope you enjoy!!
