It was a pretty nice day at the office today. The sun was shining, warm temps and we got a lot of good field and prep work done.
Potatoes are now in the ground. The first hoeing of the season went to the peas and favas, which unfortunately have been attacked by voles. To deal with the vole pressure we removed the row cover and also put out freshly made vole traps.
We also planted out lettuce, seeded spinach, finished building a spray down table for washing produce, and made some progress on sourcing a few missing items from our tool box.

Part way through sitting in the barn, talking through some of the ordering and making lists we realized that there was a new batch of chicks at the far end making a huge racket. Very cute.
